Lady Voluptuous ili pravim imenom Arijana imala je dug put od želje do ostvarenja sna. Rođena 1971. u Zagrebu, doslovno je odrastala sa prvom elektronskom muzikom u samim početcima. Opsesivno je skupljala ploče, ali nije imala podršku da bi se makla dalje od amaterskog kućnog sviranja. Krenuvši u istraživanje muzike od elektronike, preko darka, uvijek se držeći više undergrounda nego mainstreama i popa, došla je na kraju do dva žanra u kojima posebno uživa - minimal techna i jackin housa, ali i ubacujući stvari koje možda nisu striktno vezane za žanr, ali se odlikuju kvalitetom ili jednostavno u njima uživa. Uglavnom bira producente i muziku po kvaliteti, bez obzira na godinu berbe :) kao na primjer Turmstrasse Kollektiv, Samuel L Session, Steve Bug, Minus, Hawtin, Dusty Kid, Loco Dice.... Dugo odvojena od profesionalnog bavljenja DJingom, a uz podršku kolega koji su je čuli, počela je prvo broadcastingom na webradio preko streama, ali ne studijskim mixevima, nego miksanjem direktno u show ili klub. Tako su je čuli prije u Belgiji, USA, Italiji, pa čak i u Haad Rinu u Thailandu, nego u Hrvatskoj. U ljeto 2010. odlučila je napraviti korake prema dalje i upisala DJ Akademiju najviše zbog toga da razbije predrasude i uspjela. Tu je upoznala i odslušala vrijedne savjete jednih od najboljih DJ-a i producenata u Hrvatskoj Grge aka Toxica, Ludviga, Blacksoula, Pushkara, Hot-J, te Jay-C. Nakon toga, odradila je ljeto Fly bar, Nasipavanja, privatne partije, i svugdje su reakcije publike bile više nego pozitivne.

Lady Voluptuous a.k.a Arijana, took the long road between dreaming the dreams and making them come true. Born in 1971. in Zagreb, Arijana grew up witnessing the birth of electronic music. She was enchanted by the beats and started buying and collecting vinyls obsessively. Unfortunately, at that point she haven't had the support to take her talents any further then listening to her records in the privacy of her own home. Her love for music took her into discovering the alternative music and electro sounds but her main interest was the underground scene rather then the mainstream and charts. From that, she developed the passion for two genres in particular -minimal techno and jackin' house. Arijana started mixing in the sounds from the other genres and music styles, twisting those styles it into her own, original sound. Her choice of music is based on the quality of the releases and music producers throughout the decades including Turmstrasse Kollektiv, Samuel L Session, Steve Bug, Minus, Hawtin, Dusty Kid, Loco Dice to name but a few. Not knowing how good she was and playing music just for fun she soon started getting the attention of her friends and also other DJ's who soon inspired her to take the plunge and broadcast her music into the live stream directly to the shows and clubs on the webradio. She was heard in Belgium, USA, Italy, even in Haad Rin, Thailand. In the summer of 2010. she decided to further her career and enroll in DJ Academy in Zagreb,made new contacts and heard the advice and important suggestions of the best DJ's and producers in Croatia: DJ Grga aka Toxico, Ludvig, Blacksoul, Pushkar, Hot-J and Jay-C. Arijana spent the whole summer spinning her tunes in the Fly Bar, Nasipavanja, private parties with the raving support of her fast growing fun base!
